The SafeT-Plug offers a safer way to vent residual pressure that may be found between two isolation points.  The SafeT Plug can be pushed open by the operator and the plug will 'FAIL CLOSED". It can be adjusted to release a prescribed amount of product depending on the application. Threaded plugs are sometimes partially unthreaded to 'test ' for residual practice: this is not a best practice. The safety plug utilized a patented 'Duo' metal to metal seal combined with an integral soft seat, allowing a repeatedly reusable seal.
